Glad to announce that Bourke road family medical is approved vaccination hub for covid 19 vaccination for Kingston & bayside( Hampton & Hampton east) LGA for increasing access to vulnerable populations, including;

Those who are experiencing homelessness, including those living on the streets, in emergency accommodation, boarding houses or between temporary shelters;
Those who do not have a Medicare card or are not eligible for Medicare;
People with a disability or who are frail and cannot leave home (homebound individuals);
First Nations Peoples;
Culturally, ethnically and linguistically diverse people, especially asylum seekers and refugees and those in older age groups who may find it difficult to use other vaccination services;
Children aged 5-11 who have complex needs, who are not captured by another suitable vaccination channel, and
Any other vulnerable groups identified as requiring dedicated support to access vaccinations.

Home Visits

Regular patients (within 3km of the practice) who need a home visit and are unable to attend the clinic should advise the reception staff.

We recommend that you ring the surgery for results of any tests that you have done (please allow 3 working days for them to be received by the clinic).

Phone Calls

The doctors may be contacted on the phone during normal surgery hours, but may need to return your call if they are with a patient. Telephone consultations are available now and can be booked on the website or by phone.

A reminder system is available at our surgery for regular health screening such as pap smears, diabetes and asthma.

Important information: Third dose ( booster dose) is done at 5 months at present but will be done at 4 months from 4th January 2022 & 3 months from 31st January 2022 as per new health department guidelines. Dose 3 appoinments are available.The Pfizer, Moderna COVID-19 vaccine has been found safe and effective by ATAGI to boost protection for individuals aged 18 years and older through a third booster dose provided
